🚀 V2.4.0 - New Feature: Behind-the-Meter Application Option

Distinction of Behind the Meter and Front the Meter

Previously, only front-of-the-meter applications were supported. This update introduces the capability to model C&I segment scenarios with behind-the-meter configurations.

A new input, “Application”, has been added to the Scenarios tab 🗂️, allowing users to define the plant application. 🌍

Application Options:

• a. Behind the Meter ⚡ Activates the C&I Segment Local Energy Storage model.

• b. Front the Meter 🌐 Activates Distributed Energy Generation.

This enhancement provides greater flexibility in modeling energy systems! 🎯

New Outputs

Two additional outputs have been added to provide pre-plant energy cost insights:

• Pre Plant Consumption Billing Cost : Represents the cost of consumption before implementing the plant and storage.
