Scenario โšก๐Ÿ“Š

Scenario refers to the asset in which financial metrics for feasibility studies are defined and the market in which the system will participate is selected.

The Scenarios page lists all scenarios that can be chosen for a simulation. Any simulation ๐ŸŽ›๏ธ can work with one scenario ๐Ÿ“Š.

Scenarios Page

Each scenario is modeled under five main categories of parameters:

Description ๐Ÿ“

Scenario Name: The name you want to display for the scenario in the scenario list. This name must be unique. Description: A text box where you can enter a description for the scenario. It can hold up to 140 characters.

Electricity Market Participation โšก

Sell to Grid: Option to enable energy sales to the grid. Purchase from Grid: Option to enable energy purchases from the grid. Application Options: a. Behind the Meter :Activates the C&I Segment Local Energy Storage model. b. Front the Meter : Activates Distributed Energy Generation. Model Type: Specifies whether the plant participates in Feed-in Tariff or DAM. The hybrid model indicates that the plant can participate in both FiT and DAM. PFC Participation Situation: Three options are available: Do Not Participate, Participate, and Depends on Model. The last option leaves the decision to the model, allowing PFC participation if it is profitable. SFC Participation Situation: Three options are available: Do Not Participate, Participate, and Depends on Model. The last option leaves the decision to the model, allowing SFC participation if it is profitable.

Battery Options ๐Ÿ”‹

Ratio Shadow Cost: Selecting the most efficient use of battery life considering the cost of degradation. When Battery is Depleted: Defines the system's behavior when the battery is depleted. There are three options: Replace Batteries Automatically (replaces the entire storage module), Stop Simulation (ends the simulation), or Continue without Storage System (continues the simulation without the storage system). Replacement Battery Number: Specifies the maximum number of batteries to replace when Replace Batteries Automatically is selected in When Battery is Depleted.

Financial Metrics ๐Ÿ’ต

Tax Rate: The tax rate percentage used in financial calculations. Hurdle Rate: The hurdle rate (WACC) percentage used in financial calculations. Battery Price Decline Percentage per Year: The annual percentage decline in battery prices.

Prices and Load Profile ๐Ÿ“ˆ

In this section, hourly consumption, MCP, PFCP, and SFCP data must be uploaded according to the template format. The uploaded data is visualized in detail both hourly and annually using the settings below.
